L’Arc Macau Invites Special Olympics Members To Visit The Macau Giant Panda Pavilion
(Aug 21, 2015 – Macau) L’Arc Macau has organized series of volunteering activities as part of the upcoming 6th Anniversary celebration in September. Right after the recent staff volunteering blood donation activity earlier this month. L’Arc Macau Volunteer Team has again initiated and invited the Special Olympics members to joint visit the Seac Pai Van Park and Macao Giant Panda Pavilion in Coloane on 21st August to embrace the natural environment.
On the event day, L’Arc Volunteers and Special Olympics members were delighted by the natural landscape and the close observation of giant panda “Kai Kai” and “Xin Xin”. The Special Olympics members have a deeper understanding on the living habit of panda through an interactive game session with the L’Arc Volunteers at the panda’s information centre. The event ended up with light refreshments and origami workshop organized by the L’Arc Volunteers, the finished origami was exchanged as a memorable souvenir of this event.
L’Arc Macau Volunteer Team has always been taking the initiative to organize and participate in social activities, visiting the Macau Giant Panda Pavilion with Special Olympics members served as a platform of enhancing social integration to the community and maintains the employees’ work-life balance through exploring the beauty of nature.
