L’Arc Macau visits “For National Liberation and World Peace – Thematic Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War” Deepening Historical Education and Promoting National Spirit

(September 1, 2025 - Macau) To remember history, honour martyrs, and uphold the spirit of patriotism, Ms. Connie Kong, Chief Executive Officer of L’Arc Macau, led the management team and team members to visit the “For National Liberation and World Peace – Thematic Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War” on 1st September. This visit aimed to deepen their understanding of resistance history, promote the resistance spirit, and cherish peace.

The exhibition, presented in six sections, features a rich collection of rare photographs and archival footage that chronicles the resilience and courage of the Chinese people throughout the 14-year resistance. A dedicated section highlights Macao’s wartime efforts that embodied heartfelt solidarity. During the visit, L’Arc Macau team members gained deeper insights into key historical events and the heroic deeds of martyrs. They strongly resonated with the exhibition’s emphasis on peace and national cohesion.

Following the visit, one of the team members shared that the exhibition provided deep insight into the sacrifices made by our forebears in saving the nation, and powerfully epitomized solidarity in adversity shown by the Chinese people. Through the exhibition, he gained a deeper understanding of the profound significance of the victory in the War of Resistance, developed a heartfelt appreciation for the value of peace, and sincerely expressed his pride in the Motherland.
