L'Arc Macau Promotes Eco-Friendly by Planting Trees
(Mar 20, 2016 – Macau) L’Arc Macau has always been taking social responsibility to promote the message of resources conservation and environmental protection through different staff activities, thereby share love to the community. In order to enhance the awareness of environmental protection in the community and to contribute efforts to the Macau Green Work, the L’Arc Macau Volunteering Team joined the “ 2016 Macau Green Week and Tree Planting” activity organized by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) on March 20.
On the event day, the Volunteer Team members walked along the Seac Pai Van Park upon their arrival and at the same time promoted the message of resources conservation and environmental protection to the public. After that, the Volunteer Team members planted the sapling together and experienced the joy of planting and fulfilling green life to the park. They also received potted plants as souvenirs from IACM by the end of the event and to integrate the green living concept into everyday life. The Volunteer Team members expressed that it is difficult to spare time to have such a close touch with the nature due to busy life. This activity can help them to enhance their awareness on resources conservation and environmental protection. They hope to do their part to help others by participating in more volunteer activities.
In order to let their staff care and participate more on social affairs, as well as maintaining a work life balance, the L’Arc Macau Volunteer Team continuously organizes and participates in different caring activities by cooperating with social organizations and encourages their staff to share love and care to the community.
